The standard is a collective devoted to uplifting the creative community of which we are a part, creating, developing and producing new work,  and generating opportunities for ourselves, striving for excellence as artists in every sense. A source of inspiration and support, the standard provides a space for individual exploration and discovery nourished by a collective commitment to growth as an artistic community. Embracing roles as actors, writers, directors, producers, designers and beyond, we aim to transcend the boundaries we see stifling the American Artist. Through our Actor Workouts sessions, Youth Outreach, Standardized: A Reading Series, Living Legend Workshops, and other ongoing programs we will build and strengthen collaborative relationships within our community as we prepare to move into a greater producing phase in the future. The collective is united around a commitment to nurturing intelligent, stimulating, provocative work, that speaks to our collective sensibility, culture and time.
